Hi there Titans02 - welcome to TSG!

It just hangs? Does it provide you with an error message?

Have you tried a different boot disk?

Hi titans02

It sounds like there are bad spots on the hard drive. You can go to the hard drives manufacturer's web site. They usually have programs there you can load from a floppy disk to test out your hard drive. It may be time for a new one.
