Ok! I guess your brother changed the settings in the BIOS. Try this, as soon as the computer starts hit the Del key and this would take you into the BIOS/CMOS setup. There check for the BIOS make... is it Award/AMIBIOS? Once there, you just check in Advanced settings(or something similar to that) and then change the boot sequence in the BIOS. Change it so that the Primary Boot Device/First Boot Device is the Harddisk. Or if the setting looks like A,C,... then change it so that C is the first entry in the list C,A,D or C Only. Re-check! See if that helps.

If you arent sure about it then post back about your BIOS make and we'll help more! But first try the above process.

More help needed
Ok.. I can't cause it says use PU/PD to Modify and I take it PU/PD is Page Up/ Page Down? And errrrrrrrrr it doesn't do anything what so ever

Is there something I can do ta fix that? Cause my bro can't fix it either.. those keys don't work in there...

But when is says

INSERT BOOT DISK
Boot disk drive A:
Press Any Key when ready:

or something close to that... I can press page up or page down and it works because it'll say the same thing again... errrrrrr pluss NumsLock dunwork!

Could you plz post back about the BIOS make?

Also check with the normal windows keys(up,down arrow keys).

Or Select an option, hit the enter key and select the Harddisk.

If you manage to get this computer working, what do you think you'll do with it? Have you ever used Windows 3.1 before? It's a very old operating system that doesn't look at all like Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, or XP. You won't be able to use any new software on it, and it'll be difficult to get it on the internet. Is this computer really worth the time and aggravation? If you just want to learn about computers, I'd suggest buying an inexpensive new one since this one you have is so old that you won't learn anything applicable for today on it.
