restore dell to factory default
I have a Dell Latitude CPi with Windows 98 on it. It's a very old pc that i dont have any discs that go along with it. How can I restore it to factory default without using a disc?

Back in the day they didnt have a recovery partition..{I dont think it had one]
Its been a while since I looked for w98 but I have seen then online a couple years ago for sure.
the prices have went up but I was able to locate this....using google shopping

thank you but this is an ancient pc and i dont want to put any money into it. i called dell and they said it could be done on that old of one but she wouldnt tell me without some code on the bottom, which isnt there anymore, go figure lol. thanks anyways

maybe it does have a recovery partition
go to
computer.... and look for the partition

im sorry but i have no idea what your talking about. in the start menu there is no "computer" but my computer and that has nothing about recovery partition. i also searched under "find" for recovery partition and got nothing
