win98 can't find pcmcia card
Hello,
I recently installed windows 98 on my old old laptop:P
But!..
I tried a lot of things to get an internet connection.
But I couldn't do one thing because my laptop says: 'Insert a PCMCIA card' while I already have one (even two sometimes) in my laptop.
I installed the driver.

My PCMCIA car is:
BenQ AWL100

and it is compatible with win98.

Can someone please help me?

What drivers did you install? The NIC drivers? What about the laptop's chipset drivers? Possibly PCMCIA drivers?

I searched on google for the driver for BenQ awl100.
I only installed that one.

Try looking on the laptop manufacturer's Web site for your chipset and/or PCMCIA drivers. The circuitry for the PC Card slot may not be installed, or up-to-date enough.

Thanks, Tomorrow (dutch time) I'm going to try it, already searched some and found my laptops drivers at dell.
