98SE Internet Connection Sharing
Hello
I have a computer running 98SE (can be ME if that would be significantly easier though I am terrified of the "Windows protection error. You must restart your computer" bluescreen that came up once a week without fail when I did use that OS, forcing a reinstall)
I get my internet through a wireless 802.11g lan card in pci and that internet connection I want to send through the serial port to share it (using a serial null modem cable).

I can install ICS but in the settings there is nothing to select as Internet Connection and my wireless connection appears in the home network box at the bottom of the window.

I set up a null modem in the modem setup wizard and it all seems to be a success until I click on modems and the list is empty, though it actually seems to have appeared in the device manager. I cannot select that anywhere on the ICS configuration screen.

Does anyone know how to share a wireless connection with internet over serial in 98se?

PS please dont say use ethernet because the system I am trying to get connected to the internet is an Atari Falcon, and is set up correctly to receive internet.

kickback999,

I don't have an answer for you, but you might want to click on Report at the bottom of your post and ask a moderator to move this to Networking.
