Unhappy Explorer.exe error in Windows 2000 Pro
Hi,

When my Broadband modem is connected to the PC and when it is ready to use the internet I keep getting the error message explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program and the message disappears. The desktop flickrs for sometime and then come back.

I have scanned for Virus, infact they were around some threats, ran sfc /scannow command rebooted my PC still no go, installed Wise disk cleaner software cleaned the hard disk, installed registry Glary Register repair software repaired the registry and rebooted the PC still no go.

When I disconnect the PC from my BB modem via RJ45 cable the problem does not occur.

Can anyone look into the issue and give me a solution.
