Links are dead
Strange issue here. Using W2K sp4 and outlook exp v6. When I get an email from friends that contain a link to something (safe), click on it, all I get is an IE totally blank page. I can copy the link, open IE and paste in the address window and then go to the site. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

No guarantees, but you can try this link (assuming you don't get a blank page-- pun intended, lol):

You cannot open a new Internet Explorer window or nothing occurs after
you click a link

Thanks for link that I couldn't open SDFOX, pasted it in the window. Tried the suggestions but nothing worked. Really don't know if the issue is with IE or OE.

Solved. I tried the following and it worked:

There have been several instances where the previous tip using regsrv32 does
not solve the problem with hyperlinks not working.
In this case try:

1.. Open Internet Explorer
2.. Go to Tools / Internet Options
3.. Click on the Programs tab
4.. Click on the Reset Web Settings button
