now what to do?

I am using T mobile's web n walk on an unlocked 3Connect and Huawei 160G modem. I often sign into MSN whilst appearing offline but if i try to log in as available, MSN cuts me off after a few seconds. The same goes for signing in as appearing offline and then changing to available once I'm in, I just cant seem to stay on.

I just downloaded the videora ipad converter, opened the dmg, and all of a sudden it turned from ipad video converter, to ipod video converter. I opened the app and there is no option for the ipad, even though the download is called, ipad video converter dmg.

Anyway, anyone else had experience with videora, or any other free converter? :confused:

The little coffee cup with the circular loading bar does is thing for a while but then only a black cube appear with nothing to click on. I should mention that the text above what is supposed to be a clickable button mention that you need to have the java plug-in ect, and i do, i re-installed the whole thing and still the same problem

I know its not the website problem since the costumer service guy of my ISP click on it no problem using my account.

I have tried various option trawled for on Google and can report that:

Windows firewall is turned off on my computer
I use Zone Alarm (latest version) but I turned this off temporarily.
Internet is connecting OK and mail program (Outlook Express) is OK
The iTunes test of network settings reports OK
Registry has been cleaned with several cleaners
I am running the latest iTunes (9.2)
I am running IE 7
Talktalk says that as long as internet connections OK that is it – they do not support iTunes.
On Tools/Internet options/connections/LAN nothing is ticked.
Changes I have made recently were to try and combat a warning about the Sality virus. I thought this might be a scam virus. That is why I updated Zone Alarm. But in any case as I could not get iTunes after doing this I reverted to a previous image using Acronis. That should have taken me back to a previous version of Zone Alarm.

I have 6 pc's on my work bench that I need to remove Nortan Antivirus from.

I have always done it the long way (manually) in the past. However, that can take 2 hours or better sometimes.

Today I saw an ad for "Perfectunistaller" it states it will remove Nortan completely from all files and the registry. Sounds almost to good to be true. So I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever used it and what kind of luck you have had with it removing everything accoicated with Nortan.

I've been very big on running backup software in the last few years and already this year, my current backup software, Easy Image, has saved me several times after some glitches that didn't allow me to boot up. For that software, you can create a rescue disk, which I like, boot into it and import the saved backup file which I usually make on a weekly basis.

Lately though I'm wondering if I'm doing enough. What I mean is, maybe I should be doing daily backups, and if I choose. Easy Image can schedule that. But this brings up some questions....Can you work on Windows while the software is backing up, which with Easy Image is usually a 10-15 minute job? I mean I know if you scheduled it to do a backup at 8AM and you needed to check your email, surf, or install a new piece of software at the same time, would that be represented in the backup file?

The reason I ask this is because I also have seen another option pop up in backup software recently. In the Acronis True Image and I'm sure other brands, you can have it set to constantly backup, though all along I've thought take would take up a lot of resources so I would never set it up that way. But I might change my mind about that, and I'm just curious if, just like with my current backup software, if I'm fiddling around with windows while a backup is in progress, especially a backup that's constantly running, what is it going to back up to file and what isn't it? I mean that questions holds true if it's a constant backup or one that runs every five minutes.

When uninstalling Premiere Pro, I think that I had to do it twice, so maybe something messed up while uninstalling.

My friend said that there might be something wrong with the Registry, but I really don't know what to do and I'd like to have it back on my computer. Another friend suggested that I put CS4 over it, so I tried installing Premiere Pro CS4 for it and I got the same error message.
