Yes, but instead of plugging in my usb HD and transferring the file then plugging it into my xbox, if i had a wireless HD i could transfer the file to that, then if my xbox could pick up the wireless HD get the file from there, get me?

yes,but Xbox 360 accessories are compatible with Windows, such as the wired/wireless controller, the wired headset the wireless headset and the Live Vision camera. However, despite marketing by Microsoft claiming otherwise, the much anticipated Chat pad accessory for the standard Xbox 360 controller is not Windows compatible.

Hi JamboDean,

Could you provide us with the specs of your PC, you can use this tool to do so: SysInfo

Also, can you provide the brand and model of the TV you are using.

This could help us look for other setups.

What version of Windows are you using?

Have you tried setting up Windows Media Center on the XBox and PC as this should allow you to stream media from the PC to the XBox. If the wireless HDD is linked to the PC, I would image you should be able to stream that.

I am no network expert or actually tried to do this, I am just aware that you should (in theory) be able to stream that way using Windows Media Center.

There some routers that has USB ports where you can connect an external HD to it and the router will turn it into a NAS, but how the XBOX will see it that's another question.
