So I just did a full reformat of my PC and decided to install Crusader Kings 2 as one of my first games. It works fine until I patch it with any of the official patches. Then I get this error if I try to start:

My other games work, and this one should work since I could play it fine before I reformatted, so what's happening? I've tried re installing and using different patches but I always get the same error
