I'm not sure if this belongs in this thread, but anyway here goes...
A couple weeks ago i noticed that while playing in multiplayer games like MW3 and Halo Reach my connection would lag and i would occasionally get disconnected completely from Xbox Live. Also when in a party with my friends i would experience a lag over my mic. This was a strange occurrence as i normally have a great connection, I'd say i even had a better connection than most of my friends. BTW my xbox is connected wirelessly to the BELKIN Play N600, which like i said, gave me a very good connection. I began to realize that my connection would be fine for maybe 1-2 minutes then it would shoot down to 1 bar of wifi (normally i have 4, or 3 at the lowest). After experiencing the lagging and disconnections i reset my router as advised. This changed nothing and the problems kept happening, making it extremely frustrating. I noticed that our laptop works fine and i also have an iphone, which also hasn't had these problems. I also know its not a bandwidth problem as ive had the laptop and iphone connected for quite a while.
Please send me suggestions of things that might fix this. I realize that the router might be going bad, but i would like to try anything i can before replacing it. Sorry for babbling.
