Solved...Omega drivers
Edit: I figured out what I was doing wrong.

I cannot get the Nvidia Omega drivers installed. I have Win98SE. I've tried uninstalling the "Nvidia" 45.23 drivers, in safe mode, reboot>install the standard AGP drivers then go thru Device Manager>Display Adapters>Update>pointed to the directory I installed the "Omega" 45.23 Performance drivers and Windows would not recognize them to install.

I also installed the "Nvidia" 45.23 drivers then go thru Device Manager>Display Adapters>Update>pointed to the "Omeaga" Performance directory>click install and I get a message to insert the orginal Nvidia compatability disk-1 and that as far as I can get.

I've never been able to update Nvidia drivers thru Device Manager and have uninstalled in safe mode rebooted and then installed the updated Nvidia drivers. My computer came with GeForce2 MX/MX 400 installed.

If anyone is using the Nvidia_Omega drivers, please let me know how you installed them.

The Nvidia 56.43 drivers are a little buggy for my system and the 45.23 drivers can be a little sluggish playing Uru-Ages Beyond Myst.

The Omega "Performance" drivers are supposed to be preset for better speed.

I've installed the Omega drivers a few times with no problem in XP. Unzip the files and run the executable. In some cases when trying to install and it asks for the original disk, go ahead and stick it in the drive as there are some files that it needs to reference for whatever reason. Once you restart the drivers will be the Omega version and you will like the results.
