Well, my basic problem is that mechwarrior 4: Vengeance doesn't start. I have looked everywhere fo rtech support, but have found none. Anyway, I install the game onto my windows 2000, and after restarting I clikced the icon and saw the loading screen. After waiting awhile, My screen goes black for a bit then comes back to the loading screen. I tried waiting here, but to no avail. Eventually i did ctrl alt delete and ended the program. Aafter ending the program, the graphics configuration box for MW4 appears and i set everything and clikced continue, but noithing happened. I found that the program wasn't responding. Of course I have updated my drives and have the latest version of dx. The odd ting is that I used to have MW4 with this same computer, but windows ME, and it worked. If you really need all that dx info, i can post it here, but i don't wnt to flood up something unnesecarily.

i got windows ME and it runs fine. use windows ME instead for MW4

Looks like it should work with 2000. Your system is lacking in all other areas though. You really need at least a 64mb Radeon or gf4 card to run this game with an acceptable frame rate. What partition is this game installed on?

what a load of bull, look at my specs and see the difference! i can run it at *almost* top graphics and sound settings and i get a VERY stable frame rate in all situations.

my gfx card is only a 32mb (SDR) geforce2Mx400!
