Unhappy Sims Makin Magic Troubles
I installed the game and all the expansion packs and it was playing fine and then one morning I put the game in as usual, it loaded (went thru the page that comes up with the writing that scrolls on the bottom) and then instead of starting it just vanished.

and it keeps doing this.

I have installed the latest directX and I know my graphics card driver is up to date.

last time I had this problem uninstalling and then reinstalling solved the problem but I've done that and it did not work.

Windows XP

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, sim1 neighbor! I still play it too.... sorry can't get used to sims 2 just yet... I've had my share of Sims game horrors that I lost sleep over it. lol.

Did it crash you back to your desktop?

Read these first: and the Sims Resource message boards.

Hope it helps you. Good luck.
