#19 | I found an online game community that offers something for everyone. The company offers currently two different kinds of games with a third in testing right now. Threerings offers free play in Puzzle Pirates, or you can subscribe if you prefer to budget by the month or year and Bang! Howdy offers a microcurrency program which can be obtained by paying for it or by trading in some of the game currency you collect through playing the game. In Puzzle Pirates, you will make an avatar that can actually walk around and you can dress up, etc...which is your pirate and there are puzzles to work on alone, or in groups and even some other types of games which are not puzzles like spades, hearts and poker. If you want to pay by the month, make sure you choose a blue(in name) ocean and if you want to do it free or by microcurrency-be sure to make a pirate on a green ocean. There is even a dedicated ocean for german speaking folks! Bang!Howdy is a 3d graphics game and is far more graphics intense than puzzle pirates but its loads of fun! Bang!Howdy uses a micro-currency system but you can play both of these games without paying a thing at all. You are just restricted on some of the things you can do. Also, both games can play from your browser without a large download. Both games require you to be 14 or older. Give them a try and let me know what you think! | | Member with 79 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: England Experience: Still much to learn. |

#26 | For a little of a different type of MMO, there's Audition.
It's a dancing game, based on rhythm and such. You type in arrows, and press the space bar (or the ctrl key) on the beat. Closer you get right on the bet, the more points you get.
Real money is not necessary, it it only used for buying clothes or accessories that can't be bought with the in-game currency, so it's not essential. www.nexon.net | | Senior Member with 1,048 posts. | | Join Date: Apr 2007 Experience: Intermediate |
