BlueEyedFox, this forum has very strict rules about who should and shouldn't be assisting users with malware removal. If you feel you are qualified, you need to talk to a moderator or administrator to get permission. And you technically aren't allowed to even talk about noCD cracks here. I dont really care though.

I'm 99% sure this doesn't involve malware.

Anyway, when it freezes does the mouse do a jerky type of movement or is it smooth?
Is the disk clean?

the mouse is fine and smooth

the computer lags a little for about a minute after i shut down the program, and the disk is still brand new, not a scratch on it

Alright well most of what I find when searching for this issue is that it's the cd drive. I'll PM you with a possible fix.

That's fine, and it's good you're trying to help, nothing wrong with that

Just know that, like you said in your post, messing with hijackthis can cause series problems if you don't know what you're doing (not saying you don't). Most of the training programs I've seen (I am part of one) have strict rules about their participants posting help to people. It's not a good thing to be doing. Wait until you're allowed to.

hey, i'm here to help , so i hear you have this sims 2 problem.. well if you take a look at all the problems on the games section most of them have this sims 2 problem but don't install all these things because it won't help at all it'll just make it worst because if you install these things that other people suggest then your computer/laptop will get slower and slower, i had the same sims game and it just did the same so i took it back

That's what the guy at the EA games support asked me, I said no and he said he'd send the e-mail with the info in them within five minutes.

That was 7 hours ago, still haven't got the info
But I've downloaded the patches that apply to double deluxe, all of the games I have are up to date.
Ran it again, same result
