3 Laptops: Which is best for CS Source?
Hey! I'm buying a new laptop and I'm not sure as to which is best for playing Counter Strike: Source. I've narrowed it down to three, could ya help me choose? I'm more interested in knowing which graphics card is better, since the processors/memory are pretty much the same.

Game: Counter Strike: Source
(I won't use the the laptop for much gaming besides CS, maybe the occasional one or two RPGs)

Specs:
Laptop 1: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz 2GB RAM ATI 1250
Laptop 2: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz 2GB RAM Intel X3100
Laptop 3: AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 1.9 GHz 2GB RAM ATI Radeon X1200

I know those graphics cards suck, but that's the budget :[
Anyone know which laptop is best for playing CS:Source?

Thanks.

Well, all three meet the minimum specs for CS: Source but non meet the Recommended specs. I would avoid Laptop2 as the Intel graphics are rubbish for game playing, so its down to Laptop 1 or 3. Although I would really spend the money on a desktop PC for playing games - NOT a laptop.

Oh ok thanks.

I can't get a new desktop PC since I will be taking this laptop to university.
I don't intend to use the laptop for much gaming, but if I do play any games, it will be CS

The 1,83Ghz intel is probably faster then a 1.9Ghz AMD.

Core 2 Duo is better performing then X2

That's what I've heard......

I would go with the 3rd one just because its AMD.

Price + Performance for AMD = Win for me. How cares if they dont last for like 10 years like Intel processor do. Chances are, if your building or buying a pc for gaming, current technology is gonna be out dated within 2 years and you will be buying a new pc. Best of what INtel and AMD is currently making right now is gonna be crap within 2 years. And AMD can easily last 2 years. Even when overclocked. I also have a AMD 3200 which is overclocked by 120 mhz and its been running fine for almost 3 years now.
