Oblivion
I just installed Oblivion onto my laptop and it will play for about 30 seconds and then close with an error message saying, "Oblivion has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong? Thanks!

Yeah, I went here because on my copy of Oblivion, the first time I ever tried to pick a lock, it crashed in the same way while loading the lockpick screen, and left me in a 860x640 (or whatever resolution the lowest 16x10 resolution ever is) with 4-bit colors. Luckily, switching back is easy and it doesn't mess up my shortcut arrangements, plus the second time through it didn't crash, so I just ignored it. But just now, after tons of lock-picking, it's done the same crash! Although, I suppose if I get in the habit of saving often it won't matter, because the engine of Oblivion is so smooth that, among other things, everything loads almost instantly even with 512 RAM. (But I do have a dual-core 1.8-per-core processor, plus ATI Radeon X1600, which may not be the newest, but it's still state-of-the-art because ATI service sucks and there's a new video card like every damn week.

Nevermind! I fixed the problem by permanently disabling my completely and utterly useless HP Printer tray icon. (Which I didn't know how to do without internet help because the stupid ****ing program honestly has NO preferences or options or tools or anything, and it would crash every time I tried to uninstall it.)
