Exclamation Problem Uninstalling A Game
Ok hello everyone. So i'm having this problem uninstalling my games. Everytime i try to uninstall The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion I get this error message: Error Loading
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\PROFES~1\RunTime\11\00\Intel32\Ctor.dll
The Specified Module could not be found.
It has happened on other games too. I appreciate any and all help given.
Thanks,
Taylor

Hi

It sounds like one of your main uninstallation files is missing. If you want too get rid of Oblivion, just delete the program files file AND delete the registry key. I have no idea where the registry key is for Oblivion so go google "getting rid of oblivion registry key."

Strange as it may sound - BUT it may be easier to re-install, restart and then uninstall as this will replace the missing files, enabling you to remove the program.

PLaying with the Registry is not for the feint hearted so if you do follow that option MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP FIRST

Ok so the only reason im trying to uninstall it is so I can reinstall it because for some reason a large part of the game just isnt working. So i wanted to reinstall it to try and fix it. So you said one of my uninstallation files is missing. Is there a way I can fix that. Im ok with computers but pretty much i'm just into graphics and making websites and the like so tell me anything all "techy" and I don't know anything really about it. I appreciate any help you can give me.

ok, go to add/remove programs, find oblivion and there should be a button ro repair it, if not, try going to start, all program, bethesda softworks, then oblivion, there should be something like an uninstall program, open it, if it gives you the same error, and has no option to repair, try putting in the disk, and if you have autoplay enabled wait for the menu to open up, and there might be soemthing about installing if there is click it, and follow the procedures to install it, if not im out of ideas sorry
