Hiya and welcome, supersmulexD

I've split you off into a new thread, as that one was Solved

If your C Drive is full, can you not uninstall some things via AddRemove in the Control Panel? Also, lets just check that there is no malware on the system, to get them out

  • Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
  • Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
  • Click on Install.
  • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
  • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
  • Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
  • Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
  • DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Regards

eddie

This is advanced warning as I am familiar with Maplestory and had a rather anoying problem with it. If as a result of the malware, you install, change, or upgrade an antivirus and/or antispyware program, make sure you add Maplestory to the firewall/POP exceptions. If you use spybot search and destroy, you will need to shutdown teatimer before running maplestory due to known, but not commonly known conflicts.

However save this for last after eddie has helped you.

Well, nothing bad showing there, but just to be on the safe side, lets take a look at a DSS log, then we can rule spyware out:

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
