i need HELP!
for the past year my computer has not been able to run 3D games. the computer... causes 3D models to have long, annoying lines coming out of them, or holes... wtf





here is another image, but this one dosent have all the lines through it.. its still messed up


keep in mind, my computer can run guildwars perfectly. it looks good too..


my SPECS are

Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT graphic card
1 gig RAM
AMD athalon XP 1600 + 1.40 GHz

the graphic drivers are up to date also...
im not a computer wiz, but i need help with this....

ask me for more info if i wasnt specific. =D

Most likely a defective video card.

some may be intensive than others. First I would do the DXDIAG tests.

Go to Start > Run > type dxdiag and press enter. When the box shows, go to Display. There you will find the video tests.

is there any way to get another card to double check that your card is not crapping out?
