Exclamation Sims 2 installaition problem
One of my friends was trying to install the sims 2 on thier laptop(its vista)and it stops at 1% and says ''cannot transfer file F:\Support\sv\I?smig.txt from the media'', how do i fix this problem(the game disk is brand new and is not scrathced)

Do you have enough space on your computer? Are you logged in as administrator?

Hm. I read on another forum that someone with the same problem tried copying the disk and installing that and it worked for him, but I don't see how that would make a difference...

Not only that - I'm assuming you have the CD version - the game is 4 discs.
