Weird problem with Diablo 2
Hey, I'm still a frequent player in Diablo 2 and it really bugs me that my system comes to almost a halt. My old system (which was basically worthless) would run it better than this one, which makes no sense. As you can see in my specs my system is okay, not the best but not the worst.

My old system only had a 1.13 GHZ single cored processor, 512 MB of ram, and a onboard graphics card (32 MB).

Now my system is a 3.0 GHZ dual cored processor, 2.5 GB of ram and a PCI card Nvidia GeForce 6200 (256 MB).

My old system ran Diablo 2 perfectly with the small lag here and there, but my new one can barely even handle a few maggots on the floor (when you kill Durial). It's really ticking me off, and I want to know why this is happening?

Does anybody know why?

Thanks!

Well the hardware seems more than adequate, so it seems like a software issue, which leads us to a question of drivers, and the quality of your operating system installation.

Make sure you've installed the latest Nvidia series 6 drivers, then report back.

No gain, if anything it seems to have gotten worse. Do you think it could be that vsync is disabled on my computer?

I don't know, type /fps when you're in a game and see what your FPS is.
