I was so proud of myself because I finally figured out how to get Internet access for my 8-year-old son's PSP via our wireless router. After I handed it off to him yesterday, he brought it back to me saying that it was 'frozen.' I looked at it and saw that he must've pressed update---and then everything stopped. Games do not work, the screen is black, the green light goes on for a minute or so and then goes off. I tried charging it overnight but today it is still off. I did some Googling and realized that it could be serious

. Luckily, the PSP is still under warranty. Before I contact Sony, does anyone know of any legitimate ways to fix this? I don't know much about the device except that I bought it last December and it's the regular PSP (not the slim one). As an aside, I can't believe that these devices are so 'touchy' when they're marketed to kids. They should be a little tougher. Thanks for any suggestions.
