Here's my problem. I installed CS: Source on my laptop (non-steam, if it matters) and what happens is that when I load up the game, the screen goes black, and the CS Source loading screen appears for a split second and then it turns black again with a mouse cursor (judging by the size, it's 1024x768 resolution just like my desktop). I Alt-Tab to the Desktop and Alt-Tab back, it shows the CS Source menu for a split second, and then the screen turns black and it never works.

My system specs are

Lenovo 3000 C100
1.6 GHz Intel Processor
2GB RAM
Integrated Intel GMA 915 shared 128MB VRAM
60GB Hard Drive
AC97 Sound Card

Hows that video card? Do you have all the drivers updated? I play a lot of Counter-Strike so I know where you're coming from, however, I have the Steam version.
