Angry Stalker/ Shadow of Chernobyl Gametap Problems
Note I am using Gametap, I do not have a copy of the game.

Well I am kinda angry.

So Gametap states that the game listed on their servers is free. (Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl.)

It says that you require a key to play this game. They says that their publisher isn't giving out keys currently.

I read somewhere you only need the key to play multiplayer on the game.

So I waited the 4 hour long download after I said yes on the option to install this game, my computer meets the minimum system requirements.

After I waited the four hour long download, I ran the game. I press the play button and its says some crap in German or something.

It says: Fehler

Sorry if I made any mistakes, I had to type this stuff out.

Then I pressed okay. Nothing happens. I close out, start it up again. Same problem.

OH YES AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME THIS IS A FIREWALL PROBLEM IT ISN'T BECAUSE GAMETAP PLAYER IS ON MY EXCEPTIONS LIST. KAY THEN.

So anyone got any bright ideas on how the heck I can fix this problem?

I downloaded the "game", unzipped it and could not get anything to actually start the game. I owned the game previously, but gave it to my brother in law. So, I was not too disappointed.

Well I am looking for solutions, I waited a 4 hour long download and I'm really pissed to see that it won't work in the first place.

The error you're receiving is saying your page file is too small.
Adjust your page file to be bigger than 2 GB and try again.
