Cod4 Problem (bug)
I have an issue with Cod4 online. Whenever I join a server with Punkbuster, I get stuttering/hiccups at the very start when I first join the server.

For instance, on my lagometer I get yellow bars passing through above the middle blue line. These bars pass through at 4 second intervals of one another. This maybe lasts for about 30-45 seconds. Then it clears up. However, sometimes they will re-occur in the middle of my game. Obviously when the Yellow bars appear, I stutter for about a second, with 4 second intervals.

I'm certain that it's a Punkbuster issue. I've read other threads, but I've yet to find a fix. Some say it's due to Vista, but I'm running XP Pro 32 bit. I've done some research into Port Forwarding, but that's only useful if your using a router. I tried playing Cod4 with my router and then only my modem, however the problem still persisted. So, Port Forwarding is eliminated from the remedy for this issue.

Any suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated as I'm eager in finding a solution.
Thanks

It's nothing major. I get that too. It's called lag. What are your computer specs? It could be your network or your computer that is lagging.
