CPU 100% activity with UE3
In games like Unreal Tournament 3, Blacksite, The Last Remnant,MOHA my CPU activity rises to 100% the second i launch the game.
I mean, the cpu temp is 51 degrees max, and never goes above, GTA 4 being a exception where it goes up to 54.
TLR runs at 74fps average and other games tend to run solid 50-60fps.
I cant understand whats the problem.
I mean i can play Crysis o Very high and Far Cry 2 Ultra High with 4xAA (no problems).
CPU is E8400 @ 3Ghz
Mobo is Asus P5QL
GPU is 4870.
PSU is 600W 80plus
Games That use Unreal engine screw up my CPU.
I mean i checked if maybe they happen to use just 1 core but no, task manager shows BOTH cores go up to 100% and stay there.
Eventually the games just tend to crash due to the cpu not being able to handle the load. Temps still stay at under 51 degrees solid.
Vista Home Premium 32bit.
