Smile Games are playable only when incert game cd
Hai Guys,

We have a gaming company and we produce on PC racing game. And our company management decided to start sales of that game.

Now my requirement is if any user purchase the game CD, that user should insert the game CD in CD-ROM and start playing. No other persons are should restrict to copy that game into local hard drives or other Cd's

Requirements of my management:

1) Player who purchase the game CD should play the game with CD only. if CD is not inserted into CD-ROM then game should not work
2) If that person try to copy the game into local hard drives or to another CD, he should restrict to do that.

Please suggest any third party softwares is avaliable to do that.

Please help me.
Thanks In advance

Bhanu

To date there is not 1 form of copy protection that is not crackable....

And if you want a decent form of copy protection you are going to have to spend some big bucks for securom...

I would recommend trying to get a contract with steam!

Peck1234 is right most cheap stuff can be hacked but here are something from download.com. They are for personal use but may work for you.
lockdisk 2.8

TrueCrypt 6.3

even Steam downloads are cracked within a few hours before it should be out. Like I think Borderlands was done as soon it was available on internet download (which was a few days before the CD release)

But there are other forms of 'copy protection', and securom is the most common one out there.
