Assault on dark athena game crash error

I have bought the game assault on dark athena recently but after a successful install the game crashes on startup showing the error unhandled exception trying to access memory location 0x00000000
Please help
And dont tell me to update my driver because I have done that and my pc meets the minimum requirements for this game.
Do u have any suggestion please help.
