Solved: Crazy Lag!?
Hi ..

I've had my Computer for quite a while now, but it's still running just fine. except..
For about 1˝ year i've had Mount&Blade (Downloaded version, i have to admit) and all of a sudden it's starting to lagg, spontaneously without warning about 3-5 minutes into the game. I've updated all that can be updated and still it lag.. And not just regular lag, we're talking 3-4 fps.

I really hope someone knows what might be wrong.

( I've had similar problems with other high performing games.. For example. Games in combat mode with a lot happening.. )

1. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us Get the latest Drivers

2. Download Hwmonitor and post a screenshot of your temps...

3. Run a full scan with malwarebytes

your graphic card is well above TJMAX!!!! It is taking damage!

Either your fan has stopped working on the card or its clogged up with dust!

That is your problem!

So based on my Cpu do you think it can handle this:

http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...ode=24-8400148

or do you have a better proposal?

your cpu still has plenty of juice behind it...

The only thing Im concerned with is your power supply...

Use this tool below to figure out what your tower can handle... also take length of the card into consideration... Chances are if you own a manufacturer made desktop you have a power supply of either 350-400 watts..

(the best thing to do would be to actually check on the unit to see the wattage)

Okay

Now, i've checked graphic card. And of course, it's clutched and totally messed up.
I have to get a new one so now again: do you know if the suggested card fits in my computer or do you have another proposal ?

The higest end graphic card you can buy for your system without upgrading your PSU would be a Nvidia 9800 GT
