Question Christmas Around Corner need help!
Ok So since 2008 i had my computer here are the current specs:

Specs:
Asus M3N78-VM
XFX XXX 4870 1GB GDDR5 (got this year , should last a year or 2 in gaming)
Windows XP
Linksys Wireless G Model # WMP54GR
Standard DVD-ROM
500w Coolermaster Xtreme
WD 320GB
4GB Cruicial PC2-6400 800MHz
AMD Phenom 9750 @ 2.4Ghz
HP Monitor 1280x1024
Case: Tagan El-Diablo

Ok so here is dilemma i dont know what to get i am thinking of getting Windows 7 but idk if it will allow my xp drivers???? and it would let me use my Linksys Card, I also want to upgrade to a Cheap, Reliable sound card too (X-Fi), I plan to get a 650w Corsair PSU, and that is pretty much it I want to play BFBC2 and DiRT 2... Also i wanna upgrade the case to a Coolermaster HAF 932 Full Tower. Any Help Guys??? Because i think i can pass on the case and the PSU, but im stuck with the sound card, OS, and my motherboard (idk if windows 7 would work with the drivers i got for it still) Btw my Bday is Jan 21 n if i get money for Christmas i wanna preorder BFBC2 Limited Edition. And Windows 7 has DX 11 and that is pretty much it... I cant think of anything else to add. Also can i Backup my Files for my games and Install Windows 7??? but if i do that will i have to get another hard drive possibly a external one???
Thx A Lot

Best bet would be to check the manufacturers web sites
for your hardware and see if there are drivers available for
windows 7.
Also run this.............
Windows 7 upgrade advisor.
Upgrading the power supply would be a good idea.
Your putting a good load on that one and it never hurts to
have a backup.
You can always install the second hard drive in the computer
and setup a dual boot system.
If you plan on running DX11 your gonna have to upgrade the
video card again.
ATI 5000 series cards are DX11 capable.
There are full HD monitors available now for a decent price.
I just use onboard sound.
It's good enough for me.
A XI-FI would take the audio load off the cpu though.

Just some things to consider.
