Direct3D in Win7 problem
ok, i have just installed BigFishGames to my laptop and got World of Goo for it (I'm running on Win7). But, when i try to play the game, it says:

"Could not find any compatible Direct3D devices."

I click OK, then it says:

"Error: Access violation at 0x0049D6EB (tried to read from 0x00000000), program terminated."

Now, I've gone online in search for a Direct3D Driver, but all of the ones that I find will not work for Windows7.

I'm at a loss on this one, any ideas?

Can you set the game to run off software video mode forget the exact name for it should be in the graphics options for the game, sounds like your card doesnt suppurt Direct 3D mode.

Also go start>run and type dxdiag and make sure everything is fine in there, you can also run a few test in there to see if everything is working fine.
