Gaming computer
So it has been years since I have been in the gaming computer scene and my computer has pretty much run its course. Now I am looking at buying/building a completely new gaming computer but things have changed quite a lot. Direct X, crazy graphics cards, and Quad cores oh my. I have no idea what I'm looking at when it comes to gaming computers these days. Back in yesteryear it was about your ram, video card and your processor but now there are tons of other things to consider. Newegg is a place I use to purchase, are they still good? What about the new alienware aurora? Any tips or whatever would be awesome. Thanks, any help would be much appreciated! My price range is around 1,000-1,500.

Thanks,
Robert
