Solved: Transferring/streaming media to PS3
there is an easier way to transfer video files from a PC to a PS3 since they would be on the same network... right? I don't want to use anything else other than doing a complete transfer.

hmm, well, depending on what you are looking for, http://www.di.co.nz/PSMediaTunnel/index.htm try that, it makes your pc into a server that you can access on the ps3 through the web browser, havn't used it myself, but I've heard it works.

your psp can play files directly from a usb flash drive... but of course you'll be limited by the fat32 file format. (max size 4 gigs per file)

good to know... but I have a PS3, not PSP

As to the original question, I tried PS Media Tunnel, but it didn't work well with some of the files, however PS3 Media Server works wonders. It has played all my files so far with minimal issues (had one that stuttered, but was corrected with little tweaking), I would highly recommend this program.

Thanks for the input guys.
