My initial thought would be that your graphics card (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950) just doesn't support something the games require, this can be a fairly common problem with laptops.

The requirements for Dawn of War would support this as a requirement Hardware Transform and Lighting (T&L) which the GMA 950 does not have. It does support T&L but through software, not hardware.

This shouldn't cause a problem with Age of Empires 2 or Age of Mythology I don't think as I am not aware of any particularly difficult requirements for those.

If this is the cause of the problem there isn't really anything you can do apart from getting a new laptop with a graphics card that supports those requirements (they can't be changed in most laptops). I can not say for sure that is the cause though!

Agreed. It could be a driver issue, or that the video card is not supported.

Which games does work on your machine?
