Solved: Cannot install WordZap
I suspect it's a symptom of something else, but I've noticed that I cannot install the simple game called WordZap. I can download the installation file, but when it comes to running it, all I get is a small, grey box that says "OK" on it. And that's it. The game is not installed. I've tried it probably eight times with the same result. I have had it installed before without any problem so I'm puzzled. I recently had my computer reimaged, and that may have something to do with it. I looked in the Event Log for any errors, but I see none that pertain to this.

I have attached the DxDiag attachment.

PS The registry does not contain any stray files that might
interfere with the installation, nor does the firewall appear
to interfere.

Thank you!!

Have you tried downloading something else from a different site?

As a test try downloading Ccleaner Slim

Hello-- yes, I have downloaded things from other sites without incident. I contacted the writer/owner of the WordZap program and he hadn't a clue.

I did download the CCleaner Slim successfully.

Is there some way I can append an error file when installing (trying to, anyway) WordZap? It just may help narrow the problem down...

Thank you

Also WordZap is an exe file and does not have a certificate so maybe something is blocking it say Anti-virus or the security level your browser is set at
