Screen goes black when gaming
I just recently got an Asus Nvidia 750i SLI mobo. I put a 9800gtx+ in it and a 9600gt dedicated to physx. Whenever I am playing games the screen stutters, goes black, stutters again, and then goes back to the game. I did just switch from the old geforce drivers to the new unified geforce/ion drivers but I don't think that is the problem. I'm at my wits end here. Some help with this would be greatly appreciated.

First things I would do is try running it with just one card to see if that works.

When you changed the motherboard did you do a full, clean installation of Windows or just install the new drivers ontop of your existing installation?

What PSU are you using? Make, model and wattage

I did try to play the games with only one card and it made no difference. I did a clean install of windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. I have an 800 watt modular Rosewill Liberta Series LIB-800. Also as of now the board actually fried the whole chipset. I can turn it on and off but no picture.

awtz.that hurts. checkyour bios settings for some special settings you might have missed.also check your memory. + good ventilation would also do the trick your system might be overheating... you should also chek the installation of your mobo, there must be something that causes it to be grounded therefore giving you a blank screen or stuttering screen.

I have checked and double checked for grounding problems and things of that nature, but to no avail. All of my hardware still works except the mobo. Which includes an EVGA 9800GTX+, PNY 9600GT, 2x2gb Mushkin 800, 2x2gb G Skill 1066, and of course an intel core 2 quad Q8400 2.66ghz processor. Oh yeah, and the power supply wasn't the problem either. Right now I am using all of the hardware mention above except the 9600gt with a mediocre Asus P5KPL-VM and everything works perfect now.
