Rome Total War Blank Screen

I've just installed Rome: Total War on my laptop and I tried running it, and I can hear the sound, but no video shows. I tried reinstalling it, but no difference. What should I do?

My system:

Dell Inspiron 1501
AMD Turion 1.6GHZ
2GB RAM
Windows Vista
ATI Radeon Xpress 1150
