When I click on it I cannot open the drop down, how to I see who is logged in?

Turn on Login Notifications and Login Approvals then see what happens.

Ive been trying to turn any of my security settings on, but I keep getting this message:

It's probably because:

Your browser is set to automatically clear cookies whenever it closes.
You use your browser's "private browsing" or "incognito" mode.

I've tried Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome, its been like this for days, I can't turn any of my security on.

What do you mean by "who is logged in"? It's your account. It means you logged in from 3 different devices or locations. The fact that you can't expand that section to see what those locations are probably mean you have a problem with your browser. That also makes sense since you say you can't edit anything else there either. You simply need to change Login Notifications to enabled, and you'll get an e-mail any time you log into your account from any device.

You have multiple security-related threads open including one in Malware. I suggest you get your computer cleaned up immediately or just format and reinstall before you end up with a mess you can't get out of. In the mean time, go to a known clean computer or boot from a Linux disk and change all your passwords to something secure, and don't log into any of your accounts on computers that have been compromised.
