Solved: Anti Virus Programs
I will need to make a decision about renewing my present McAfee Total Protection or changing to something else.
Anyone use, or have an opinion, about the Kasperkey Anti Virus software and how well it works or not.

Thank you.

i'm not an expert here - but if you look through the security forum, you will see a lot of recommendations for windows 7

The windows 7 firewall is considered adequate and especially you are connected behind a router.
Have a read in our "general security" forum and look for the advice from our security gurus, they are identified with a green shield next to their name

Several excellent free antivirus programs are available.

Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE)

Avast

AntiVir

Two other programs to also have on the PC

Malwarebytes

superantispyware

Pay for
ESET nod32

Anti Virus Program
Thank you. Under General Security how do I find the moderators with the green shields?

Green shields are not security gurus, they are Trusted Advisors. Malware Removal Specialists have gold shields and trainees have blue ones. These are icons beside their user names.
