mcafee virus protection turns itself off
Anyone else out there with this problem? Every time it updates, mcafee virus protection turns itself off. Looking for a solution.

Howdy Clyde,
Does it do it as a restart to make the updates take effect? My Zone Alarm Security Suite does that every so often but prompts me for a restart when necessary, not every update. Matbe you need a different AV? AVG is a good free one.Don't run two at the same time though, will you!!
Regards Paula

Thanks very much Paula. It may be the reason, but very annoying. I'm probably going to go with Zonealarm, just like you, where at least they have the decency to let you know what they've done!
Cheers
Clyde
