I've removed the link that you posted, as you said that its suspect, just in case others click on it to see what it does

For those who are curious, the link pointed to an executable file with a .com extension, disguised to look like a .com website.

If the OS is running in ram, infection of virus will be eliminated. Once it occurs, just reboot the computer and all virus will be destroyed.

hi folks,

the easiest solution for this kind of pretty annoying msn viruses is ... to don't use MSN ! Just take some alternative softs like Trillian, that has got all the features you need (audio & video, file sending, and many more). i tried it, and never re-installed this good old msn, that isn't so good finaly.

PS : Trillan can connect itself on MSN / Yahoo / ICQ / AIM and you can chat with all your accounts in the same window. Need more ? There's Trillian Pro (need to pay), but the Basic version is just perrrfect

MSN viruses can attack MSN users using Trillian (which by the way is a good program but I couldn't get used to it.) Ive been told that its more of a worm than a virus.
What it does is sends a message to all contacts, once a contact clicks on the link it becomes a vicious cycle.

All IM cients are vulnerable. Even email clients.
