Have router and Zone Alarm...add Kaspersky?
(Windows XP and firefox)

I currently have a router and Zone Alarm.

I can get a 3 person license for Kaspersky 7.0 for $25.

Would this be a good idea and add the Kaspersky?

Would it conflict with ZA?

Would it be overkill?

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

Howdy drewmeister_sd,
Is Zone Alarm the security suite version or just the firewall version. Doesn't a router have its own firewall? You might want to post your computer configurations and programmes for a better idea of what you are asking. Kapersky 7.0 is an antivirus, isn't it? You only have one AV at a time or you get conflicts when both are trying to access the same computer processes. I'm not sure how many firewalls you can have but would think it would cause a similar conflict. You can however, have several antimalware programmes as there isn' t just one that picks up everything. You need several to cover all the nasties. I use Spybot Search and Destroy 1.5; SpywareBlaster; Adaware 2007,IE Spyad; and the Zone Alarm Security Suite.
Regards Paula
