Twinguard Firewall
I just got a new job as an entry level system admin. The other guy left and one project that he started on before he left was replacing the firewall. He bought this eRacks Twinguard rack unit. Well I am pretty fresh to hardware firewalls. I need lots of help.

We have two IP networks that need to be firewalled. I'll just call them .1 and .2. This Twinguard system has two computers in the rack unit, and each computer has two ethernet cards. From what I see, it runs FreeBSD and has CARP already configured. I guess CARP is used to show one virtual IP address for two machines. here are my general questions:

1. Will this rack unit work to firewall two networks?
2. Does anyone know a good CARP reference site?

Any tips on what to start with would be great!

Thanks
