i read the not to post about and it included hacks i didnt know wether that was to explain about it or what .. im a victim in need of some advice thats all


i have a forum .. and i signed it to it as usual the first thing i noticed was a post count on a newbee was set to a different rank ?? .. i didnt think nothing off it at first was simply confused then i went into my admin tools and in my banned members and ip's etc they had all been deleted .. i went back on my forum only to find a new topic named "hacked" with a message posted apparently by myself ??? saying " you have been hacked" hahahaha

i am really upset my this and need your help

ive contacted the people who host my forum and there reply was you must of given your details out .. which i certainly have not !!! i told them that ,,, they said there is no way it could of been hacked ... which i know it has !!!

im really really upset and i dont know what to do .... please help me someone before they really ruin things

Hi and welcome to TSG,
I can't help with the tech side of your problem but I think I can reassure you that TSG won't help people who want to hack but will try to help those who appear to be being hacked.
I'm sure someone will be along who can give you some advice.

What is the name and version of the forum software? Check with the people who wrote it and see if there are any updates. If there is a vulnerability, I doubt changing your password would help.
