What's the BEST Internet Security Software - - Norton's has FAILED me!
Could someone please let me know what's the best Internet Security package? We have Norton's Internet Security here at the church my husband and I pastor, but both the Anti-Virus AND the firewall have failed us miserably. We keep getting attacks by Trojans and other nasties and a port scan reveals that my ports are open even though Norton says they're invisible. I'm having multiple problems and trying everything to keep from having to reformat. Whether or not that happens, I really need some GOOD Internet Security. I've already spent way too much money on Anti-Spyware, Anti-Adware, and the like trying to get the problems fixed. I don't want to have to go through this again. Any suggestions from anyone who has some good information?

Thanks for any input,
Sharon

If you've spent alot of money on anti-spyware programs then I'm assuming you have more than one on your computer. I suggest deleting all but one. Ad-Aware is probably the most popular one. For internet security, AVG is one of the best.

Considering how you are getting viruses right now with Norton, I think you need to reformat your hard drive or post a HijackThis log in the malware removal forum. Norton is a decent antivirus, I'm not sure how it compares to AVG, but I assume they're about the same, but the only problem with Norton is that it slows down your computer a ton.
