I have Norton Internet Security 2003 but have been keeping up to date with yearly subscriptions.

I don't know the exact trigger but from time to time, Norton will fire up a program called "ccpxysvc.exe" and when it does, it brings my system nearly to its knees. And internet traffic - esp. to graphic intensive sites - grinds to an almost standstill. CPU usage is at 100%; seemingly forever.

There are numerous complaints of this on the web but no one ever posts a fix. And the Symantec website itself is of no help.

I'm hoping the folks on this forum will be able to give me a hand.
