Hey all, new here. My Mcaffee expired today. A friend always told me it wasn't all that, but I don't remember what it was she told me to get, I appreciate any suggestions.

Kaspersky is a good one, I heard it has hourly updates of virus signatures. I use AVG Free, which is not bad either.

Depends on you OS. I like the Zonealarm Suite, but it's a bit limited in it's functionality on Vista, lots of features missing that are on offer for other versions of Windows.
Can't go wrong with Kaspersky either.

i like avg7.5 free and comodo free firewall. if you are going to uninstall mcafee ,here is the tool you need.
