Question about sqmdata files
Hey there, I'm new here. This morning I woke up to find a bunch of sqmdataXX.sqm(XX resembling files of the same name with different 2 digit numbers) files and sqmnooptXX.sqm files as well in my C: directory. I was just wondering if I should be worried, or whether these files are supposed to be there.

It doesn't matter you have sign on to the Messenger or not,

This morning I'd install a data card (China Product), without internet connection at all,
There was a message box asking that the product didn't get the certificate from Microsoft, do I really want to install it or not with an alternative to submit report to Microsoft, and I replied Yes and installed it, without sending any report to Microsoft. After finished I'd got 6 sqm files in my C: directory running from sqmdata00.sqm - sqmdata02.sqm and sqmnoopt00.sqm - sqmnoopt02.sqm.
This could mean that even you log on the Microsoft site or not, all the activities that you have done with your PC will be spied by Microsoft and will be reported. Do you think is this illegal or not?
